His
mixed-media installation, fabrication. Charged with working in threes, His is an examination of paternal relationships and conventions of masculinity and care, told through the lens of the artist’s relationship with their father. The installation consists of three sets of tools, one cared for and one in disrepair, held and photographed by the artist. These images can be seen transferred onto wooden boards, inscribed with the artist’s journal entries of formative experiences they had with their father.
